Current use

CCC Lessons uses Google Analytics for statistical information about how the website is used so we can improve it. Analytics is disabled until you choose to allow it. You can withdraw permission free of charge using the control below. Your preference is stored in this browser; it does not apply automatically to another device or browser. Google AdSense is configured on selected Reading notes pages, subject to Google’s approval and available ads. The host may also use necessary technology to deliver and secure the pages. If you choose “Save on this device” in the personal-notes tool, your browser stores notes for that lesson until you delete them.

Analytics cookies and browser storage

When allowed, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and measure visits and sessions. Our preference keys, ccc-analytics-consent-v1 and ccc-analytics-optout-v1, are stored in local storage until cleared. Personal notes are also stored locally only when you ask to save them.

Disabling Analytics prevents it from loading after the page reloads. It does not erase information already sent to Google. You can delete existing cookies and local storage in your browser settings; clearing local storage also removes saved Personal notes and your preference.

Advertising choices

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar storage to serve and measure ads. For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent message provides consent, decline and manage-options choices. Use “Privacy and cookie settings” at the bottom of pages showing the consent message to change or withdraw your decision. Allowing Analytics does not allow advertising cookies.
